Government Receipt Accounting System 

Features :-

• GoM, Finance Department has made available facility to citizens to pay tax or non - tax revenue online through GRAS. The portal was made live on 24th June, 2010. At present  38 Departments of the Government and 21 nationalized banks are using this facility. 
• The virtual Treasury has been established specially for accounting, reconciliation and management of receipts through GRAS.

Main Advantages :-

• Ease of operation & 24 X 7 basis facility is available. Real Time accurate receipt & reconciled data is available to all participants.
• Government gets revenue on T+1 basis.
• Payment modes available in GRAS :-  i) e-Payment , ii) Across the bank counter iii) SBI e-Pay (payment Gateway) 

Vision :- To collect all Government Department's receipts through GRAS.

               To develop mobile application of GRAS.
